The inaugural season of the series, hosted by popular YouTuber James "Jimmy" Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, debuted in December 2024. In Season 2, 200 eager competitors play to win million. The show is similar in many ways to the popular Netflix series "Squid Game," though contestants don`t fight to the death. They just go home when eliminated. Fans of challenge-based reality series won`t want to miss a "Survivor" crossover episode. Filmed on Fiji, contestants will take on a "hybrid challenge course" based on the "Survivor" format, including "mid-challenge bribes, strategic twists and signature physical obstacles," an Amazon news release states.
